Women Connect Self-Defense Class: We will have a special guest, Sue (from the karate class at the preschool). She will teach a self-defense class for women, youth, and young ladies.

When: Saturday, August 9th, 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck for 6-8 people.

Please join us on July 26 for high tea from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fergusson's on the Square in Hoschton,GA. Because we will carpool from the church, let’s plan to meet at McKendree UMC at 10:15 AM.

High tea includes: 

• Choice of hot tea or iced signature tea 

• Daily homemade scones (the flavor varies from day to day)

• Choice of soup or salad.

  • Soups: Tomato Bisque, Chicken & Wild Rice, Broccoli Cheddar. 

  • Salads: Strawberry Feta, House 

• Lower Tier: Signature finger sandwich selections. 

• Top tier: Daily dessert offerings. (Varies daily)

Women of McKendree, you are invited for an afternoon of painting fun at The Sketching Pad in Conyers, GA. We will carpool after church on June 29 and enjoy lunch while we paint pottery or canvases.

What do you want to paint?

• Pottery options can be chosen at the studio.

• But, if you think you want to paint a canvas, please make your selection. Your canvas will be pre-sketched when you arrive.

Sign Up for the trip. Lunch will be provided. Project costs vary and you will pay at the studio. The sign-up form provides more specifics about the cost.
