Father's Day Donations Support Murphy-Harpst
THIS FATHER'S DAY SUPPORT MURPHY-HARPST
On Father’s Day, We Care for Children Together
On Sunday, June 21, we’ll receive a special Father’s Day offering for Murphy-Harpst, a United Methodist ministry that cares for children in foster care who cannot be placed elsewhere because of significant behavioral or emotional needs.
That morning, any dollar bills placed in the offering plate will go directly to Murphy-Harpst. We’re not asking for large gifts—just a dollar. When United Methodists across North Georgia each give a dollar, those small gifts become something much larger together.
Children are encouraged to participate too. Part of growing in faith is learning that generosity is something we practice together as the church, no matter our age.
Set aside a dollar bill and bring it with you on Father’s Day. And if you don't use cash, you can also give to special offerings like this and the HVAC (Living Grace) at McKendreeUMC.org/give, writing a note in the memo of a check, or using the offering envelope in the fellowship folders.
