Wednesday Nights
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Dinner in the Fellowship Hall
5:30 - 6:15 p.m. - Youth Handbells Rm. #318 in the Education Bldg.
6:00 - 6:30 p.m. - Unplugged time in The Lockridge Fellowship Hall
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. - WTL (Youth Worship)*
WTL is the worship and fellowship program for students in 6th through 12th grade. The initials ‘WTL’ stand for "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" and comes from John 14:6. Students gather "up the hill" at the Lockridge building after Wednesday night supper for ‘unplugged’ time. This is a time for students to hangout, do homework or play games before WTL. During WTL there is worship music, games, a message, and a time in BOGS (Break Out Groups).
Sunday Mornings
SMALL GROUPS, 11:00 - 12:00 p.m.
On Sunday mornings, after attending the 9:30 service together, the youth group breaks up into small groups of high school boys and girls and middle schoolers together. This is a time to catch up with each other and connect with the Lord.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation classes run about the same months as the school year. This is an amazing and memorable Middle School experience that teaches students the history and beliefs of the Methodist Church. Confirmation classes meet on Sunday mornings at 11am in the Lockridge Chapel. For information on the next Confirmation Class contact our Director of Student Ministries, Jenn Strickland at jstrickland@mckendreeumc.org.
