9:30 AM Praise and Worship

This Praise and Worship Service offers a more relaxed atmosphere. The McKendree Praise Team leads a wide range of worship songs that help usher you into the presence of God.

11:00 AM Traditional Worship

This Traditional Worship Service features music from the choir, piano, bell choirs, orchestra, and a wide variety of ensembles and soloists. Sing hymns and embrace liturgy that inspires reverence towards God.

The Liberia Mission Team will be bringing used eyeglasses on their mission trip to donate to those in need. Bring your used reading eyeglasses and drop them in the Bin at the Missions Station in the Narthex.

UMCOR EARLY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT) TRAINING

UMCOR EARLY RESPONSE TEAM (ERT) TRAINING

What: Early Response Team (ERT) is a group of trained individuals who respond during the initial phase of a disaster. The type of work that this group may be asked to perform can range from clearing brush/debris, mucking out homes, chainsaw work, and providing a caring Christian presence. In this class, you will learn about the role of being an ERT, different roles within your team, and safety guidelines. We look forward to learning and growing together with you

THE YOUTH YARD SALE - We need your donations!* This is the largest fundraiser for youth of the year.

  • Sunday, July 5, 12:00 - 5:00 PM - Big donation day - bring donations! Have some extra time? Hang out to price items. You can also bring donations already priced! Pizza provided for all volunteers.

  • Mon/Tues July 6-7, 12:00 - 5:00 PM -We will continue to take drop off donations, volunteers needed!

*We need your donations! However we CAN NOT accept - Large Furniture or Couches, Box TVs, Entertainment centers, Mattresses or Bed Frames (if it can't fit in a car we can't take it), Infant Car Seats, Clothing with stains or any undergarments, Broken Items, or old Appliances. Please use good judgment and only donate nice items.

Sunday, July 12, Noon - 3:00 PM: Church member Half Off Sale! Between services. And, volunteers needed to clean up

Monday, July 13, 8:00 AM: Volunteers needed to load up and clean up!
