Welcome to McKendree United Methodist Church
Welcome to McKendree United Methodist Church, where every single person matters, period. We invite people from all walks of life and hope they feel welcomed. We trust that when we worship together, serve together, pray together, eat together, and do life together that God is present. That changes everything!
Acolytes remind us that the light of Christ is present when we gather.

The Wesley Woods Mother’s Day Offering provides charitable financial assistance, pastoral care, and wellness programming to older adults living in Wesley Woods communities.
Support is provided to residents in need of financial assistance to remain in their Wesley Woods homes. A robust wellness program includes fitness classes and on-site nurses to enhance the well-being of residents, enabling them to live independently longer. Wesley Woods chaplains provide ministry through personal visits, pastoral support, Bible study, and worship. *
Help create hope and spread joy with a gift to Wesley Woods. You may give online directly to Wesley Woods HERE! or through McKendree GIVE/PAY. Thank you for helping to ensure that seniors living at Wesley Woods continue to thrive.

McKendree UMC is hosting a blood drive in the Fellowship Hall. The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Give blood. Donors of all blood types are needed to help avoid delays in life-saving medical care for patients.
Schedule your appointment today. The Schedule to Give Blood link below will take you to the American Red Cross site where you can use the See Times button to select a time that works for you.
We also need greeters for the duration of the drive. If you can help, please email Karla at info@mckendreeumc.org.

Schedule to Give Blood
Join us on Sunday, May 17 at the 11:00 AM Worship Service as we celebrate a meaningful milestone: the closing of the inaugural year of our Acolyte Guild!
During this special time in worship, we will recognize and honor our young members who have faithfully served our church throughout the year. Their dedication, reverence, and commitment have enriched our worship and strengthened our community in beautiful ways.
Acolytes will be presented with cords of distinction, and many will be promoted to the next level within the Guild, marking their growth and continued journey in service and faith.
We invite you to come and show your appreciation and support for these incredible young servants. Your presence will make this celebration even more meaningful!
Families of participating Acolytes: Please be on the lookout for additional details from Lee Dalton.
Let’s come together to celebrate, encourage, and give thanks for the bright light these Acolytes bring to our church!
