Wednesday Night Pastor’s Study: The Bible, Honestly: A Class for Curious People Six Weeks beginning Wednesday, August 20, Meets at 6:15-7:30 PM in Room 311-312
Have you ever wondered who really wrote the Bible or questioned how a book that’s meant to bring hope has sometimes been used to harm? If you've struggled with trusting the Bible or just aren't sure how to approach reading it, this class is a safe, welcoming place to ask honest questions. You don't need prior Bible knowledge—just bring your curiosity. Pastor Cyndi will explore straightforward methods for making sense of Scripture, share surprising insights (like recent discoveries about the Gospel of John), and help you find an approach. These are the basics we all need, whether you're brand new to the Bible or have been wrestling with it for years.

Raise ‘Em Up is an uplifting weekly parent survival group for raising today's kids.
Sarah and Crystal share what a difference the parent survival group “Raise ‘em up” has made in their lives.

Wednesday evenings: 6:30-7:30 PM starting September 3rd, 2025 (Activities available for children K-12 and nursery available for 4 and under.)

Both sessions will cover the same topics and discussions. We plan to have a mixture of literature, videos, fun activities, community service projects, and – as always – wonderful fellowship with other moms.
This year we will be utilizing the video-based study, “Hoodwinked – Ten Myths Moms Believe & Why We All Need to Knock It Off” by Karen Ehman & Ruth Schwenk. In their encouraging “we’ve been there” style, we will enable mothers to
Identify the ten myths of motherhood our current culture perpetuates
Replace the lies with the truth of what God says in the Bible about mothering
Acquire practical tools to help them form new and improved thought patterns and
healthy behaviorsForge healthy, supportive relationships with other moms
Confidently embrace the calling of motherhood as they care for their families in
their own unique way
Raise ‘em Up will participate in the Giving Tree service project Nov-Dec, 2025.
