Women’s Connect invites all women of McKendree to join us for a special morning focused on mental health, spiritual well‑being, and the ways our faith supports us through life’s challenges.
WHO: Women of McKendree - Bring a friend, sister, daughter.
WHAT: Come Connect at our monthly meeting! We will welcome Laura, a guest speaker who works in the mental‑health field and brings a compassionate, faith‑centered perspective on caring for our minds, hearts, and spirits. She will share practical encouragement, gentle guidance, and ways we can support one another as Christian women.
Mental health is an important part of our walk with Christ. John Wesley taught that faith is lived out in the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — and that caring for ourselves allows us to better love God and serve others.
Scripture reminds us that:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
This gathering will offer a safe, uplifting space to learn, connect, and strengthen
WHEN: Saturday, May 9, 2026, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
WHERE: Fellowship Hall
