It’s time to be the hands and feet of Jesus! On Great Day of Service, over one hundred McKendree UMC volunteers complete outreach projects for hundreds of people in need…all in one morning! We will begin with breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30 a.m. followed by a brief worship service at 9:30 a.m. Work on projects will start at 10:00 a.m. and wrap up before noon. We are hoping every McKendree member can be involved in some way. There are projects for all ages!
Outreach projects:

Lawrenceville Co-op – Offsite project: This team will go offsite to the Lawrenceville Co-op location to build “laundry kits” for those in need from our local community.
Prayer Blankets: Assemble fleece material and sew in blessing labels to make a cozy blanket.
Help with setup and clean up: Move chairs/tables before and after event.
Purchase needed supplies:
One of our projects is to assemble Blessing bags. We can really use your help by purchasing some of the items and donating to the cause! Purchase via the Amazon wish list. Please request that items be shipped directly to the project leader, Carole Phucas, whose address is already in the system.
