Together we serve our neighbors. There’s a project for every age and skill level.
It’s time to be the hands and feet of Jesus! Great Day of Service is a time to serve our community and our church. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM, we will have a brief worship service at 9:30 AM and then disperse to work on numerous projects in the church and in the community. There are projects for ALL ages!
Who: All are invited to serve!
When/Where: Sunday, October 18 at McKendree UMC
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM - Breakfast in the Narthex
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM - Worship Service
10:00 AM - Noon* - GDOS Projects
*Most projects will be completed by noon unless otherwise stated.

Another way to help for Great Day of Service is to purchase some of these items for our projects.
Bath Size Soap – 3.2 oz or larger (No Jergens or Ivory please – it melts)
Socks (Crew or Knee-High – One Size, L, M)
Sandwich Crackers (Cheese, Peanut Butter)
Packaged Snacks & Goodies (nutrition/fruit & nut bars, chips, goldfish, trail mix, etc…)
Fresh-Baked Goodies for Heroes (W-Th Oct 14-15 at the earliest – or bring GDOS Sunday)
