Lent: Everything In Between

A Season for Spiritual Growth

Lent is a time of reflection, preparation, and transformation. Whenever we say yes to God—whether through time, attitude, intention, or discipline—God is at work in us.

Too often, we feel stuck between two choices, believing we must pick one. But Jesus always offered a different way, an alternative to the limits we place on ourselves. When asked, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responded with a different question: Are you a neighbor? When faced with the tension between waiting and action, Jesus told a story about a fig tree and the need for faithful waiting that prepares the soil.

This Lent, we explore the Everything In Between sermon series, following Jesus’ journey in the Gospel of Luke. Each week, we will hold two extremes in tension, looking for where God meets us in the space between.
