We don't have to fear or feel guilt about the past. Instead, we learn from the past and make sure the lives taken are not forgotten. Making quilts that document Fulton County lynching has not only educated others but transformed the quilters' lives.
Let us remember together and build a community of hope for the future.
Display in the sanctuary, 9am to 12:30pm. Following the 11 am service there will be a time of quilters' stories and Q&A session (light lunch provided in the Fellowship Hall). Learn more about the quilters’ story with this video.
Display sponsored by the Embracing Race Through Christ ministry team.
