LENTEN SERMON SERIES: PORTRAITS OF JESUS IN THE GOSPEL OF LUKE 

Who was Jesus? What did he teach? How did he reveal the nature and love of God? And how does he invite us to deepen our walk with God through a relationship with himself?  Join Pastors Brian and Paula as they address these questions and more in a new six-week series during the Christian season of Lent (March 6 - April 10). Together we’ll explore the life and teachings of Jesus through various stories from the gospel of Luke, and be challenged to see how these can shape our insight into how he can truly be Lord and Savior of our lives.

March 6 – The Wilderness of Life (Luke 4:1-13)

Cultivating the spiritual practice of listening to God

March 20 -- Jesus the Gardener (Luke 13:1-9)

March 27 – Lost and Found (Luke 15:1-8, 11)
Experiencing "lost" and "found"-ness in God     

April 3 -- Jesus the Healer (Luke 18:35 43)
Remembering how Jesus hears the cries of the forgotten

April 10 (Palm/Passion Sunday) – Reminders of Holy Week (Luke 19:28-41)
Remembering the importance of service, praise, and prayer
