McKendree UMC invites all first responders and their families to our Bless the Badges night on Wednesday, September 8.

The worship service will begin at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will recognize and pray over our service heroes including: EMTs, police officers, fire department, and health care workers. Everyone is invited to join us for this special event to let our first responders know that we value their service and that we pray for their safety. Additionally, we want to recognize those heroes who have passed away in the last year.

Before the service, our heroes and their families are invited to a free dinner served from 5:00-6:30pm in our Fellowship Hall. Carryout is also available from 5:00-7:45pm. Please RSVP by calling the church at 770-339-9801 or sending an email to info@mckendreeumc.org.
